Our Mission

To revive the ancient Gurukula system by integrating modern education, cultivating character‑driven youth who serve the world with purpose

Our Vision

A world where every student experiences a seamless integration of ancient wisdom and modern education, enabling them to reach their highest potential.

Core Values

Dharma teaches integrity, Vidya inspires lifelong learning, Seva fosters compassionate service, and Samskara builds strong character rooted in timeless values.

Our Inspiration

Mentor Guruji Sri Shashi Bhushan Somayaji

Sri Shashi Bhushan Somayaji garu, Founder and Chairman of Vidyaranyam in India, invested his life’s resources and conviction into shaping what has become a movement—far beyond a single Gurukula.

Inspired by this vision, we established this non-profit organization to support and strengthen initiatives that preserve and advance Vedic learning globally. Vidyaranyam is one of the causes we champion, alongside other aligned efforts around the world that share the same commitment to character, culture, and holistic education.

Know More About Guruji

Shri Madugula Shashi Bhushana Somayaji garu is a visionary whose life stands as a living bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary relevance. A man of extraordinary versatility, he embodies scholarship, artistry, discipline, and deep spiritual commitment — all offered in service of reviving Bharath’s timeless educational heritage.

With an academic foundation spanning an LLB, an MA in Astrology, and mastery over seven musical instruments, he embodies a rare blend of scholarship, artistry, and spiritual depth.

His service includes roles as a renowned astrologer, Pujari at the Ashta Bhujadevi Temple, purohit, and District Coordinator for Saṁbhāṣaṇa Saṁskṛtam (2002–2013). He has also taught over 800 students in Astrology at the Sanskrit Academy, Osmania University. Spiritually, his journey is marked by Agni Upasana (2010), Agni Adhanam (2016), and the Agnishtoma Somayagam (2017), earning him the title Somayaji.

In 2015, he began Vidyaranyam, a humble Veda pathasala with just two students. Through unwavering tapas, personal sacrifice, and the support of many dedicated volunteers, this seed has grown into Vidyāranyam — a 7‑acre gurukula with 220+ students and 140+ sacred cows by 2026. Even in times of hardship, he refused to commercialize education, holding firmly to the principle:

“In our culture, Education & Health are never sold.”

Today, Vidyaranyam stands not merely as an institution, but as a movement to raise future policymakers, scientists, educators, and changemakers rooted in dharma and integrity — a testament to Guruji’s vision, courage, and lifelong commitment to the Vedas.

Jeevanadi
Your choice

Jeevanādi is Vidyaranyam’s sacred monthly offering model — with no price tag. Each family contributes according to their capacity and wish, and in gratitude, Vidyaranyam performs five powerful homas every month in the contributors’ gotra nāmas. This is a service beyond valuation, a blessing far greater than anything we can offer in return. We invite you to be part of this mission and receive divine grace through these monthly homas.

You may also make this offering on your family’s special days—birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and other milestones. We perform Āyuṣya Homa and Veda Āśīrvachanam for your wellbeing, and you will receive the video of the rituals.

Gau Grasam
$50 per month
$600 per year

Indigenous cow milk is one of the most vital elements of a child’s nutrition. Our Gaushala ensures that every vidyārthi receives this benefit, and Gau‑based products are used in all our yajñas and homas. This is pure seva with absolutely no commercial aspect.

Gau Grasam, a sacred limb of Gau Seva, is the offering of food to cows with devotion. The scriptures describe the cow as the abode of the fourteen worlds and the thirty‑three crore devatās. Through Gau Seva, we receive the blessings of these divine forces that sustain the universe.

Support Gau Grasam through a monthly or yearly offering and become part of this noble and deeply spiritual service.
